Cannon Mk3

The Cannon boys built this oversized gokart.  It had an aircraft engine sideways.  The engine was aircooled flat (boxer) 6 cylinder a little over 300 cubic inches.

High Tech

Semi elliptical rear springs going back to a solid tubular axle.  The axle bearings were Ford flathead main bearings.  The axle had a hole over each bearing and a hole in the middle.  The one in the middle was drilled and tapped  for a pipe plug so they could dribble a little oil in it from time to time.
