World's Fastest Indian

The Bill Burke Kellison ran at the Bonneville salt flats in 1962.  It went around 212 mph on the initial run and broke on the back up run-so no record.  But it was in all of the magazines and on the poster for the following year.  The producers for the movie 'Worlds Fastest Indian' heard that we had the car and asked us to bring it for background in the movie set.  We actually provided 4 cars total.  It is a great movie, not just because we had a part in it, if you haven't seen it yet, you really should take the time to watch it.  Sir Anthony Hopkins is truly one of the greatest actors ever. They timed the filming of the movie to coincide with Speed Week so there were actual speed runs happening on another part of the salt flats-it is a big place.
